Dec 20, 1947 - Jun 1, 2023
Claude Hrycaiko was an amazing husband, father and friend. He was surrounded by his family during a sudden passing on June 1st 2023. He is survived by his wife of 33 years (Betty), daughters (Kimberly, Mandi and Courtney), son (Alek), 7 grandchildren and 4 great grand children.
Claude was born in Shilo, Manitoba and grew up on a military base. As an adult, he moved to British Columbia where he spent the majority of his life. Claude loved the warmth after having escaped the cold of “Winterpeg” (as he’d put it) and frequented trips to both Yuma, Arizona and Mexico. He loved cars, sunshine, fresh fruit, cool gadgets, music (especially the Rolling Stones) and spending time together with family. His devotion to his wife and family will be an inspiration we hold onto dearly.
We deeply miss him and will treasure our lifetime of memories shared.
A memorial for Claude will be scheduled for June 17th at the Pinetree Community Centre (Rooms 5 and 6). Doors open at 2:30 and service will be at ~3pm.
